Vancouver Art Gallery (Vancouver, British Columbia)

The new gallery is set to tower nine levels and span 350,000 square feet. The rest of the building will be crafted from wood and glass, and will house  classrooms, artist studios, an Indigenous community space, a theatre, a  number of restaurants and some retail, among its exhibition spaces. The monumental project is penned for completion in 2028.

Whitby Sports Complex (Whitby, Ontario)

The new Whitby Sports Complex and park are expected to open in  late-2025. The amenities planned to be part of the 160,000 square-foot facility include an aquatic centre with a 25-metre, 10-lane pool, separate leisure pool, a double gymnasium, with three-lane indoor walking track, a twin-pad arena with 85-foot by 190-foot ice pads and flexible spaces to support community programs, meetings, and arts and cultural activities.

Brentwood Community Centre (Burnaby, British Columbia)

 The community centre will be Burnaby’s first “urban” community centre, designed and programmed to serve the thousands of residents who  live within walking distance of the new facility. It is proposed to be an iconic building that acts as a gathering place for the neighbourhood and would  include elements identified as important by residents. In addition to a gym and fitness centre, the facility will include multi-purpose rooms, creative spaces for arts, crafts and music, child care space, an indoor running track and a rooftop play area.

Bridletowne Neighbourhood Centre (Toronto, ONtario)

 The Bridletowne Neighbourhood Centre (BNC) is a first-of-its kind project in Ontario. The community hub designed by Kaisian Architects will house an  innovative collaboration between Scarborough Health Network (SHN), the YMCA of Greater Toronto (YMCA), and  United Way Greater Toronto (UWGT) that will bring vital programs, healthcare, and inclusive community spaces together under one roof as a  leading example of community-based wrap-around care.

Woodbine Casino & Hotel (Toronto, Ontario)

The development will include a major expansion to the existing casino and will ultimately include 5,000 gaming machines, 400 table games, a 5,000 seat multipurpose performance venue, multiple food and beverage offerings, 2 new hotels including a pool, spa and retail facilities integrated seamlessly with existing racetrack operations.

Dawes Library (Toronto, ONtario)

The new Toronto Public Library Dawes Road branch will replace the existing library that occupying the 416 Dawes Rd. property. The 22,000ft² multi-storey library and community hub will include office space for City of Toronto staff,  flexible meeting rooms, counselling rooms and hoteling stations. Founded on regional Indigenous principles, the design emphasizes connectivity between people from all cultures.

Peterborough Arena (Peterborough, Ontario)

As a recreational hub, the new arena will include a new twin-pad arena and indoor  walking track with a future phase for an aquatic centre, combining  spaces for play, spectating, fitness and sports. Supporting recreational opportunities through this new building and associated upgraded park space will enhance the quality of life for those who live and play in  the city.

Carrville Community Centre, Library, and District Park (Vaughan, Ontario)

The Carrville Community Centre, Library and District Park is situated in the heart of one of Canada’s fastest growing and most diverse neighbourhoods. The design enables the City to create a community hub that offers residents improved services and access to a greater range of programs. The synergies of district park, library, and recreation centre offered at one location will enhance the experience of all users enabling them to choose from a greater range of activities.

Georgina Community Centre (Georgina, Ontario)

 The new $41.5M, 85,000 sq. ft. Georgina Multi-Use Recreation Complex includes three pavilion buildings that slope down towards and meet at a central welcome space.  The three pavilions house an aquatics facility with 25m lane pool and leisure pool, a double gymnasium with walking track/multipurpose room and a library.The central welcome space has natural light from a clerestory and a two-storey high feature fireplace.
