The new tower will be built on the northwest corner of TWH and is planned to be 15-storeys – 11 floors are occupied by  patient care, with the remaining reserved for mechanical and design purposes. The tower will have surgical services, 66 new patient beds, an intensive care unit, Medical Device Reprocessing Department and more.

 The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Redevelopment Project is being undertaken to redevelop, revitalize, and expand the hospital. At approximately 146,200 square-feet, the newly designed wrap-around  expansion of the hospital will include a replacement and expansion of  the existing hospital’s acute care areas and associated support  functions.

 The Halifax Infirmary Expansion will deliver a modern acute care tower with 216 beds, 16  operating rooms, an intensive care unit, and a larger emergency department. QEII Renew will enhance access to care, replace aging  infrastructure, and support clinical excellence for future generations  of Nova Scotians. 

HDR Architecture Associates Inc.

This 65,000 sq. ft. project is comprised of 36,400 sq. ft. building  expansion as well as 28,300 sq. ft. of renovations and also includes a new Cardiac Diagnostics & Arrhythmia Clinic, and Fracture Clinic, set to open in 2027.

Spyder SC is providing PDC services for the new Peel Memorial Hospital. The renovation will include a multi-storey patient tower with 250 inpatient beds for patients requiring longer hospital stays and space to build more in the future, as well as new and enhanced outpatient services and day programs to residents in Brampton and the surrounding region. 

HOK Architects Corporation

Spyder SC is providing PDC services for the new Ottawa Hospital, anticipated to open in 2028. It will be a  state-of-the-art facility, home to the most advanced trauma centre, one  of the most innovative neuroscience research programs in the world and will have some of the most advanced digital technology to enable medical  personnel to provide patients with the most effective care.

HDR Architecture Associates Inc. & NORR Architects and Engineers

Spyder SC is providing compliance services on the new Mississauga Hospital.  

The new hospital structure will boast 22 stories and about 2.8 million sq. ft. of  space. It will include 23 cutting-edge operating rooms, up from the 14 existing operating rooms currently in use.

Additionally, the emergency department will be one of the largest in Ontario and 350 new beds will be added to  bring the total to more than 950.

Spyder SC is providing PDC services for CAMH.  The seven story building will include space for 200 patient beds, clinics for patients receiving care in the community, recovery-based  therapeutic spaces, and a secure outdoor space for treatment. 

HOK Architects Corporation

The nine-story, 600,000-square-foot patient tower will increase capacity for post-acute care, offering over 350 beds in a modern, dedicated centre for complex care and rehabilitation services.  

Stantec Architects

The vision for Markdale Hospital is to develop a new rural health centre model that co-locates and integrates primary care services with acute, hospital-based services. This facility will significantly increase space requirements for emergency, outpatient ambulatory services, diagnostic services, and surgery. Not only will the new hospital improve clinical practice areas and the patient care environment, but it will also set a benchmark in elder-friendly design.

Dialog Architects

Spyder SC is providing compliance services on the new South Niagara Hospital, proposed to be a 470-bed, full acute care hospital featuring centres of excellence specializing in stroke, complex care, geriatric and psycho geriatrics, and wellness in aging. It will also include a 24/7 emergency department and services for critical care, surgical, mental health and addiction, kidney care and dialysis,  and testing and research.
